About me
In brief, my story is not very different from other animal lovers, more specifically dogs. Since childhood, I have always loved dogs. Dogs have been always been part of my life, and this has not changed in adulthood. I have had dogs of various breeds, varying in age, and often more than one at a time. My childhood dream was to become a veterinarian, but life took a different turn. That said I have stayed focused on this passion.

I graduated as an architectural technologist in college, and with this trade, I was able to tabulate a total of 30 years experience in the field of architectural design and project management, where I finally ended up finishing my career with the Federal Government, far away from the dog training business.

My biggest and most important passions are dogs, horses physical fitness and drawing.
In relation to dogs, my objective was always to one day become a dog trainer part time, with the intent to one day open a dog
training center and do this full time. In order to do so, I enrolled myself in various dog training certification schools in order to obtain official certification through these recognized schools which now allows me to provide service training in this domain. Currently, my dalmatian dog Fred is part of an agility group and does advanced obedience.

Some of the things I did in the past are as follows

-
I was a foster care home for dogs
-
I was a volunteer for a Greyhound rescue association
-
I have followed and received professional dog training certification in dog learning and behavioral training from the following recognized dog training institutions
-
Zoo Académie in Trois Rivière with Jacinthe Bouchard
-
Duke Ferguson’s Unleash the Potential in Prince Edward Island
-
Brigade Canines dog center, Montréal

In 2016, life took a turn for me. I was involved in a major accident that almost took my life, and I was never able to return to work full time as a Federal Public servant. After many attempts to return to work, I was forced to realize that I would have to retire earlier than anticipated. As well, due to the physical and cognitive limitations I was now living with, almost all of my pastimes and activities were put on hold. It was after 5 long years of trying to live a new balanced life with limitations that I came to a conclusion. I would likely never again be able to find the same work/passion balance I had before the accident. My health would simply no longer allow me to do so. I, with the support of my spouse, decided to take the jump, and venture full time into the dog business. So here I am, ready to greet you and your pet.
